Maria Martinez is a professional with over 30 years of combined experience in the publishing, financial services, and retail industries.  Her expertise is in marketing, branding, product management, editorial project management, and professional development.

Maria worked as Marketing Director at Citigroup and also at Sears, Roebuck and Co.  She is now a writer and independent contractor who has worked with Pearson Publishing among other clients.

Maria holds a BA in Education and Contemporary Spanish Literature from Northeastern Illinois University and an MSJ from the Medill School of Journalism of Northwestern University.
